quote:I agree, 100%. however, I do like the $1000 fine per year for two years after a DUI/DWI. thats a law I can live with, because in Texas, in order to be convicted, you have to fail a field sobriety test on camera, or a breathalizer test, or a blood test, or any combination of the above. Who's looking out for you? The part that really shocks me is where the money goes. It's not like it's illegal drug money that's been seized. But to fund the coffers with money that is dependent on how many tickets are written is very, very scary. If you haven't started contacting the state legislature on this as of yet, you might want to think about it soon.
