The wind blew it off the car, and its dirty. Can i wash it?

here are the instructions from the label that came with the cover.....

machine wash in cold water with a mild soap such as Ivory Flakes. Air Dry. Do not use hot water, stiff brushes, detergents, bleach, or machine dryers.
