If you get Autoweek on a regular basis, you may have been following this story.
Up until recently, the general opinion was that there were only 5 Corvette Grand Sports (all of which are in the hands of collectors) even though rumors of a sixth would surface from time to time. Well Autoweek lit the fuse.......so to speak.......and pursued this issue. In a recent story they pretty much concluded that there indeed was a sixth Grand Sport but it had been destroyed. I get that rag allong with 7 other car rags each month... yes a sad end... but not uncommon.
