Good luck bro. What are you eyeing as the 4 door replacement?
Posted by Bello SS (Member # 1304) on :
I know people will make comments on the price seeming high......but like I said.....if u see the car u would understand.
The car will only go to an enthusiast.
As for a replacement.........I havent decided.......need something practical.
My SS was always Garaged...
But thanks for asking
If anyone has suggestions please feel free to advise.
Best Regards, Gino

very sad to hear. Let me know if you have any accessories that you will be selling without the car, I would be interested in them! Thanks

Good Luck Gino ... and I mean that seriously.
You're selling into an extremely soft market.
Just one example is this never titled Brickyard car Posted by leadfoot (Member # 695) on :

Been there and done that Gino. Sold my first Camaro in 1974, did the family thing (Caprices, Maxima, Altima and Grand Cherokees) for 25 years, and then bought my current SS in 1999.
Good luck in selling your car.

Sorry to hear that. Original Owners are becoming fewer and fewer. Hope it finds a good home and you do well selling it . Posted by ss_rs_z (Member # 1888) on :
Sorry to hear about you selling Gino but totally understand the practicle part. Hope it finds a good home. Posted by 01ss87iroc (Member # 1763) on :
Gino, didn't mean to imply that the price was high...I really meant good luck. Not sure if you thought it came across that way. I really hope an enthusiast picks it up and takes as much care of the car as you did. It is a beauty. Keep us posted on your progress... Mark

Wow,I am shocked to hear this.I hope whatever 4 door you get gives you the same feeling your 35th Anniversary did.My vote for a 4 door would be a Cadillac CTS or if I were in the truck market a new Suburban. Posted by Thom Mackesy (Member # 264) on :
I don't think this will get you out of the BG requirement. Posted by Bello SS (Member # 1304) on :

NOTHING AND I REPEAT NOTHING......WILL EVER COMPARE TO MY 35TH. LOOKING AT THE CTS AFTER A LITTLE CONVERSATION WITH THE F-BOD. Posted by Bello SS (Member # 1304) on :

I NEVER EXPECTED IT TO. Posted by KurtK (Member # 1779) on :
I would really suggest checking out the CTS- even the V-6. I test drove 2 of them earlier this year, and was fairly impressed with the ride and handling. It feels very different from the older Caddy's- the suspension has a firm/taut feel to it, and the steering has about the right amount of road feel. The engine will feel weak compared to the SS , however it will compare to favorably other like cars.
The only negative I remember (my opinion) was the center stack in the dash- at least in the '03's.
Unfortunately, the CTS was a liitle small in my wife's opinion, and it was going to be 'her' car.
I want to try a CTS-V
