I have a compaq presario 1600s that we took in to get worked on about a year ago. We decided to get a dell instead of paying someone to upgrade this laptop. So, I find out that the hard drive has been partitioned. How do I get rid of the partition so I can have one OS, which will be XP professional. I tired, naively I might add, to load xp in the computer thining it would get rid of the partitiion. Instead I have 2000 and XP as OS, one on ead partition.
