that seems like a pretty interesting way to cover your car. actually, pretty ingenius. he is probably the only person who has that set up. definitely a conversation starter. [Big Grin]

Personally,I would not want that cover rubbing the paint each time the garage door is opened. At least the guy has a silver car and the scratches won't be as noticeable. The nice thing about having a car cover is the paint is protected somewhat if something was to fall on the car.

Stranger things have happened with a simple design...if he cleaned up the rigging a bit and had better material....he could more than likely sell them on e-bay for a couple hundred bucks and retire.... [Roll Eyes]

Good gimmick - but I would'nt count on the
protection of "cheap" bed sheets!

That's a neat way of doing that, although I think I would have done it differently so that the cover could be raised manually with the garage door down. Doesn't surprise me that certain people would deride this, though. And as someone mentioned above, I would probably have used better materials than bed sheets if I was going to that much trouble.

I wouldn't want one but I give him an A+ for creativity and ingenuity.

Please note that I used the word "creative" in the loosest sense.......(and it was sarcastic).

I think the guy went to so much trouble to rig this bed sheet contraption that it would just be easier to cover & uncover the car with a REAL car cover.
