How's everyone doing these days? Hopefully well.

I used to post over at the SLP board from time to time before they shut it down. Some of you might remember me, I was close to being one of the first persons to order a 2001 SOM SS back in 2000. I guess you could have said I was "SOM" crazy back then.

A lot has changed in my life, for the better though. I have a son now named Zachary and he is 2 now. With having a little one running around always telling him "NO", sure takes up your time, but it's well worth every minute of it. Believe it or not, his first word was "CAR". lol My wife just shook her head.... hehehehe

I am currently the President of our local car club, http://www.cofba.org. A lot of work but worth it to see everyone happy.

I have done many mods to my car: Heads, Cam, Full Exhaust, N20, and the list goes on. I usually take my car to a few car shows a year, and most of the time I win a trophy, I don't drive it in the rain or snow so it's a tad easier to keep clean.

I've been meaning to offically join the SSOA for awhile now, but it just kept slipping my mind.

So last week I finally printed out the form and sent a check in to become a member.

Hopefully in 2004, I'll be able to make a few national events so I can meet some of you.

Till then, have a very safe holiday...

Bill Wright

Welcome Bill. I remember when you first got your car. There were pics all over the net of it because no one had really seen the color on an SS before. Its kinda funny because I still have your car as one of my desktops.. [Smile]

Welcome. Your car was the reason I decided to order SOM on my previous SS, then had to get it again on this one. [Big Grin]

Thanks for the warm welcome guys & gals!

Glad I had an impact on some, to help you make a decision on which color to get when you ordered your car. When I ordered mine, I went off of a 1"x1" color chip.

I'll have to make sure I read and post more often.

Do you guys's know what the major F-Body events are for 2004? I know Bowling Green is in September, what about the June time frame?

Here's a few pics's from last year, enjoy:

Another cool front shot

My car is going to look a lot different, especially under the hood next spring, as some would say, "More Bling" [Eek!]
