A good friend of mine has a 1999 Hugger Orange Z/28 with T-Tops and black racing stripes.

From the time he bought it (it was a G.M. Executive car) he knew there was something special about it as there were some documents in the glove box signed by Fbodfather but he didn't know just exactly how special it really was.

We just found out (from an extremely reliable source) that Fbodfather personally ordered this car in 1999 for the Camaro Legends Tour. He had his people add the black stripes to the car to dress it up.

Here is my question. My friend would love to see any photos existing of this car on the tour. He was able to find one on a website somewhere of it. I am guessing that some of the fine folks on this board MAY have had the opportunity to see it on the tour in 1999 and possibly took some photos of it.

Need your help guys and gals. If you have photos of this car please post them or send them to me so I can share them with him and his wife. In the photo he was able to find, the car had a bra on it while it was on the tour.

Again, it is a Hugger Orange Z/28 with black racing stripes, chrome five spoke wheels, t-tops and was possibly sporting a bra.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me.

JD I was at the International show in 99, the Eastern Nats,Superfest and many others that year and Scott was at all of them. I have so many pics from all those shows I will look back today sometime and see what I can find on it as I'm sure I may have several from different shows. Got to go get a hair cut now but will look when I get back [Smile]

JD I went back and looked but I can't find any because I lost my hard drive awhile back and all the digital pics I had were lost and all I have now is the ones from those shows I took with the 35mm and it was not in those, sorry but I'm sure Creig Archer and some of the guys from Tristate Camaro will have some.

I will ask around this weekend as I know alot of people around that were at events that year and I'm sure someone has some. Try Pat&Karen Lewis as I bet they have some as they helped move and show the cars with Scott. If you do not have thier email let me know

No Mike, unforunately I do not know Pat & Karen.

If they would have any photgraphs of my friends car, that would be great.

I would appreciate (as would my friend and his wife) any assistance you can give us.

Cool.........if Pat was at the Berger All Chevy Show this past Labor Day, maybe I saw his car or possibly even met him.

My friend had his 1999 Hugger Orange Z/28 there and I had my ZL1 there also. Another friend of ours also attended the show with us and took his 1969 Daytona Yellow SS coupe and won one of the top 25 award plaques there at the show.

Yes, that certainly is my friends 1969 Daytona Yellow SS coupe. He restored it himself. He did a wonderful job on it as the folks as the Berger Show verified by awarding him a top 25 plaque.

Yes Mike I did. Pat e-mailed me and told me he remembered driving the car but did not have any photographs of it. [Frown]

Hopefully someone else out there has some photographs of it with the Camaro Legends Tour Semi Truck & Trailer to share.

Thanks again Mike for your suggestions.

I may have some pictures somewhere of the Camaro Legends Tour that were taken with a 35mm film camera, before I got a digital camera. I will look around to see if I can find them. [Smile]

...I'll check the photos, and brochures I have. My '67 (Indy Pace car)was on the tour that same year, and '68 (teal blue RS/SS) subsequent years. I've received pics from the guys on the tour as well that I'll look through. I remember the car, but don't specifically remember any pics of it. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with something for you...
My email is kevink7@hotmail.com if you have any questions.

Guys (Mike, Kevin, etc.)........thank you so much for all your help. I know all of you must be busy with the silly season (Christmas) and all.

I do appreciate all your efforts. Hopefully you or some of the other folks on this board will find something. I know it would make my friend and his wife happy to see their car in photographs with the Legends Tour.
