big man...assaulting a woman. [Roll Eyes]

I don't get why they have to give that the label "checkout rage" though. If there was a dramatic rise in the incidence of similar cases, then I can see naming it. Otherwise, they should not try to make a national crisis out of it. [Smile]

Get this.....call it "parking lot rage".....
....last year we were pulling into a parking space when this girl comes at us from the WRONG direction and tries to pull into the space.....she rolls down the window and yells, "That lady said I could have this space!"......then pulls in further, trying to block us, and proceeds to ram the side of a Suburban parked next to the empty space!!!!

....stupid, huh? ......could have been much worse.....a little boy & his dad were on the other side of the Suburban putting groceries in it....had she hit it harder, she might have injured them!! ....all over a parking space... [Roll Eyes]

Ahh, ... the holidays bring out the "best" in some people.
Too bad they don't have things in perspective.
A. stand 5 minutes in line at the grocery store.
B. have to walk a little further from my parking space. (even tried using my car as a means to 'block').

OR
C. Be Thankful you can STAND, ...or WALK, ...and have the freedom to do so.

You know, the older I get (and I'm not THAT old [Razz] ) I've learned to really laugh at these peope, ...even feel sorry for them. When you really put things in perspective, ...we're the LUCKY ones, ...we get to stand in line, walk a little further, go to work each day, etc., etc.
Nothing for nothing, but we have family or friends in the hospital injuries, illness, cancer?, in the armed forces, over seas, in harms way, ...GOD BLESS THEM!, they are the ones faced with real issues. I know it can be stressful out there. But, I would have to believe if these people had things in perspective, ...they would be a whole lot better off, ...so would we.
...I'm off my soapbox [Smile]
Have a great Holiday everyone.. [Big Grin]

Hey Kevin, you dont even have to be "old" to realize these things and see them in perspective. [Razz] It's the uptight, impatient society that part of America has become. ESPECIALLY during the holidays. I say part of the U.S. becasue you dont see that as much down south, etc. Sure it's still there. Ah well. When I see something as ridiculous as this making NATIONAL headlines, kinda embarrasses me. I first say it over at www.fark.com and was interesting to see peoples remarks over on the forum about it (333 posts last time i saw!) [Eek!]

Tis life. I know most if not all of us are better than that. SO have a great holiday season, notheless. [Big Grin]
