I know I hardly ever post here, but this has got to get out.
I just got this in my e-mail tonight and I had to pass it along. I am an 18 year veteran of the armed forces but it still brought tears to my eyes(my main job is killing people and blowing sh*& up, besides recon). I have been on long deployments and I know the loneliness of having no word from home.
I don't know your political affiliations and I don't care. I do know that our troops need all the support we can give them. It kills me to think that some of our troops aren't getting any letters from home telling them that we are proud of their sacrifice. Please do me a favor and at least pick one name from this list and just send them a christmas card. It will mean the world to them that you care.
Mods, if this is too long or needs editing, please pm or e-mail me. I will try to get this one one page but it's looong. Also, if you sticky it, you will get my upmost respect.
Thank you SFC. John Wheeler A Troop, 1/18th Cavalry
If you or anyone you know of might be able to help out these soldiers, now is a great time to do so.God bless you, and Merry Christmas.

Forwarded for your information...
My brother in law is in the air force and he forwarded this to me. I am going to try to get something to these military men and women who are in need. Please do what you can and pass this along to anyone who might be able to help.
These are real addresses and real people in need. Lets help them know that we love them and support their sacrifices for our country.
Thanks Carmen
Pass this along please List from Mike Ruffner GySgt USMC Retired
Have an extra Christmas Card, Cookies or Holiday Specials to share with the warriors protecting our way of life? Pick a name, pass it on, let them know we support them! Get them to the schools and churches also! Semper Fi!

So any who... if you happened to be going somewhere that sells Christmas cards by the truckload for a dollar & wanted to sit in traffic & whip one or TEN out, or in the dr.'s office, or while waiting to be checked out @ the toystore or...If it was me or mine, I would appreciate it.

I just saw this post today, but I printed out all the names of these young men and women serving our country. I took this list to the GM here at the dealership and showed him the names. He advised me that EVERY SOLDIER on that list WILL receive something from the us at the dealership.
We are also running "Fill the Trucks" with gifts and supplies that we are sending on a weekly basis to these fine men and women. See news story: http://www.abc25.com/Global/story.asp?S=1528016
I just wish I would have seen this post before now, but at least they will receive something.
Thanks for posting this.
Jeremy
