Thanks for the information on my LE build number. The search continues for the original owner and any documentation of its previous 1,100 miles....
The car was registered in O Fallen Mo., any board members familiar with a 2002 LE SS from this area, please send me a message. I am trying to locate some of the original data for the car!!
Teri - thanks again!!!

You should be able to do a title search for the previous owner. Where did the dealer get the car? They should have that info and be able to help you work backward.
Did they include the trohpy mat & 35th Anniversary Portfolio full of goodies? If not, go back and ask them about it. Another friend of ours just bought a used 35th and the portfolio wasn't in there (after I told him to look for it). He went back to the dealer and asked about it, the sales dude denied ever knowing about it. When our friend mentioned he'd call the Sales Manager on Monday, all of a sudden, the sales guy started fumbling around in his desk. Lo and behold, the portfolio was sitting in one of his desk drawers. When our friend called him on trying to steal it, the sales guy admitted it would make a nice souvenir and he was hoping to keep it.
Keep on asking us questions....we'll tell ya what we know.

The rear Logo mat is there, but the other (floor mats, car cover, etc..??) documentation and portfolio are missing in action. I've tried several angles, to get the dealer to call the previous owner, but no luck. I am still working on him. I fly into St. Louis to pick-up the car on Friday. I am really excited about driving it home and getting to know the car on the trip!!
Thanks for everything. I am sending my SSOA application packet this afternoon.

When you get to Missouri, go to a DMV and ask for a title search on the car. Perhaps that will help you in your quest for the previous owner. http://www.dor.mo.gov/mvdl/offloc.html Posted by Harry (Member # 1834) on :
Congrats on your new acquisition. When you take delivery of your Camaro, look for an SLP content sticker on the passenger door. It will list all of the equipment that was dealer ordered from SLP which they installed on/in the car at their factory. Any loose items such as the car cover, floor mats, key fobs etc. should come with the car.
The 35th anniversary portfolios are no longer available because the company that made them went out of business. They have become a rare item and if you get one with yours, keep it safe!

Thanks, I appreciate all the information!!!
I have a photo of the SLP VIN Tag from the driver's door, but I did not have anyone look at the passenger door! Learn something new everyday!!

Silly me.....I was assuming you already had pics of the passenger side sticker, too! (Sorry about that.)

Travis - very impressive engine compartment and FRC's ... I noticed you are using the FRC's for two fuel lines?? Is this what I need to get if I am going to add FRC's to my LE?
I am very interested in the gauge cluster bezel. That really sets off the interior gauges.
FYI, I guilt tripped the dealer into trying to locate the owner and double check on the portfolio and other missing SLP items...
Thanks to all for welcoming me to your board. I am an ex Z06 and Mustang Cobra (pofomoco) guy. I have never owned a camaro until now. But, just like always, car people are all great no matter what car your into!
