We had nice mild weather up here this Saturday so it was nice to do this mod. Took less then 2 hours and no needles were pulled. I did have a friend help me when I popped the bezel back in to help clear one of the needles. I did not break anything and no cus words were uttered either [Big Grin] [Eek!] [Razz]

What a huge difference!! The white gauges look perfect in your car, with the white seats...

Great car, one of the best color combos ever!!!

Gotta love the 240 KPH!!!

Excellent. [Smile] Those were the Macewen overlays Yes? Where did you get the 30th decal?

Never thought I would consider the white overlays, but it looks very sweet in the 30th. Where did you get them?

They were ordered from Ryan MacEwen

The 30th decal can be ordered here from this cool dude

I was hesitant to mod this car but these white gauges look too good and the driving difference is worth it. Breaks up the dark dash panel nice!

Looks great. The add where you got the overlays says no needle removal, is that true and how hard was it to do. Also I'm just north of you in Port Elgin, my daughter goes to Waterloo University, and was there much trouble getting them sent to you from the U.S.? I just got up and didn't read your post close enough to see you already answered part of my question. I was too busy looking at the nice guages. I guess i'm trying to figure how it's done without pulling the needles.

Looks great, I also got the ones from Ryan also. Top quality, the only problem was that the T/A bezel had a small scratch on it, Ryan is going to take care of it as soon as his backorders come in.

Very nice looking. I saw the 30th decals on Brent's website. He really has some nice stuff there. Didn't the gauge face have a hole for the stop pin in the tach?

The stop pins, 3 of them, had to be removed. The Trans Am bezel has stop pins for all the guages inside the bezel.

My original gauge face only had one stop pin,at the tach. There was a hole for it in the silver gauge face.

very nice. I did mine 2 weeks ago and it was very easy. You now need to get a classic white hurst shifter ball. Those two mods really set off the white interior in our 30ths. Didn't know about the 30th decal when I did mine. May have to pull it out and add it.

Do you have a link or pic of the shifter? My shifter is leather wrapped so I would not want a solid one. I can spray dye mine white with stuff from the shoe maker store. I did it years ago to a leather wrapped steering wheel. Now I'm going to get kicked into street class for sure! [Razz]
