Michigan had this same law in '57' (don't know if they still do). I can remember the driver ed. instructor bringing it up in class that we weren't allow to drive barefooted.

Delaware has this law also. It's also against the law for anybody in the car to stick their bare feet out the window. [Smile]

(probably against the law for other bare parts stuck out the window! [Eek!] [Big Grin] )

Request: If you must post a Stupid Law of the Day, could you include it in your daily good morning post? By Friday, these are scattered all over the board and most of them aren't even true.
Thanks! [Smile]

You are correct! Rarely enforced even with all the beachgoing though.

From what I remember its still against the law in Michigan too. Could be wrong though.

Ha ha, I haven't been reading them, but I do remember it was illegal to give coffee to a baby in Lynn, Ma on Sunday's.

Mike is correct, this is an urban legend,at least for NJ....how do I know?
In the words of Judge Dredd, "I am the law."

I'm pretty sure it's illegal in PA here... i remember not too long ago reading it in my drivers manual. Something tells me it's also illegal to drive without a shirt on (male or female)

I welcome those females to break the law [Razz]
