I got a call from the hosital today. My dad was admitted to the hospital and trying to reach someone. Chest pain, shortness of breath, etc. They are running cardiology tests to see what they need to do. Hopefully he will be OK but please say a little prayer for him tonight. After all, if it wasn't for the "car gene" he passed on to me, I wouldn't have my SS.

What Scott says is so true as I lost my father awhile back and so many things I wish I had the time to tell him. Cindy and I will be thinking of you and him. They can do lots of things now for that so chin up he has alot of prayers going his way.

Hey everyone. Thanks for your words of support.
It has been a LONG weekend but he is doing OK now. I was extremely worried when I got a call from the ER at work. My dad was having chest pains and went to the hospital. He was really stuggling so they gave him some blood thinners. They stabilized him and kept him overnight. Saturday morning they did some tests and found a blockage - 95%! They immediately did angioplasty on him. He just got back home now and is doing OK.
I am SO thankful he was smart enough to get himself taken care of. I know many of us might have dismissed it as nothing and suffered the consequences. Once again, thank you for your words...they mean more than you know!
