After much deliberation - here is what the final decision on the colors will be: Sebring Silver metallic with an Arrival Blue metallic stripe. The interior will be blue. The car number will probably not be 67 though... I need to figure out a good number for it.
What do you think?

Just couldn't get away from silver could ya.. That must mean that you still miss the old "maro".. Anywho that will look great and I am sure you will make it look top notch.. Posted by ss_rs_z (Member # 1888) on :

I like your choice of colors......but if it were me I would avoid the number and the decals altogether. Did you photoshop white or black stripes too? I think either of those colors for the stripes would look nice too.

Thanks for the compliments.
I do miss the Camaro. My last two Camaros were silver... I guess I just have silver in my blood. I can't get away from it.
The decals are definately going on the car! Grand Sports really should look like race cars. Posted by Steve da Wrench (Member # 1301) on :

Thanks. That's coming straight from the top of the SSOA chain! I guess this means the Corvette is welcome at all the Camaro shows? Posted by Steve da Wrench (Member # 1301) on :

Most definatly!! Its all the same. Heck, we even let those Pontiac guys hang around Besides, the members of our local Vette club let us hang around even though we dont have a vette (yet), so I figure we could return the favor Posted by Mark IXZD 150 (Member # 235) on :
Well, it has a 2002 Camaro SS engine too so the transplanted engine lives on. Posted by TimeLord (Member # 1389) on :

How about 63?
(It helps identify the year for those people who don't know what a split window is.)
p.s....you are welcome to park with us no matter what you drive. Geeze, we even let Chabbie hang around! Posted by Scott Chab (Member # 174) on :

Very nice color combo! One suggestion...did you look at the new Liquid Silver Metallic color? Very similar, but for some reason I like the new one better.

That's a GM color?

Look's pretty awesome! The colors deinitely go well together. I agree on the number "63" as the year.
My dad bought a 63 back in the day. Unfortunately it wasnt in the best condition as it was used for drag racing. Not a show car, but would love to have a 63 Stingray again. Someday when I'm making the big bucks I'll buy one for my dad

What do you think of Meduim Spiral Gray Metallic from the C5 lineup? It's darker than Sebring Silver, but looks really nice. A Blue out of the Corvette pallette would look good with that, too.

That was one color I considered but decided it was too dark.

Nod.
I think Spiral Gray would make a nice stripe color on a white or yellow car.
