This snake was caught near Stephenville, about 60 miles west of Ft. Worth....

Hmmm... has too much white in the pattern to be a western diamondback... but then again its been a few years since Ive seen one up close. maybe its one of the rock rattle snakes?
Would make a beauty of a belt, hatband, and suitcase, though.
