After spending some time in a H2 and the caddy, i would pick the H2..

$0.02: I dunno... every time I see an H2, I see a yuppie that won't ever drive the thing on an unpaved road, let alone off road. Pure status symbol. I'm into function. While the Caddy may not be as functional, most don't need all the function of the H2. The Caddy is a classy vehicle, comfortable and can probably take all the off roading or foul weather driving you can toss at it. If you're going to buy a hummer, it should be scratched up, have a few dents in the fenders, and covered in mud or salt at all times. It's overkill.

Unless, of course, you just like the H2 better. [Smile]

Ed, I guess either one would do. I never drove a H2 so I don't know how good they are.

You take a lot of vacations! [Smile]

grab the Escalade...ride is better, less wind noise,(trust me on this....been there, done that).......and furthermore, there MAY be instances where you want to park the H2 indoors...and guess what? It won't necessarily fit!

(some of our garages downtown are too low for the H2, thus, if one is assigned to you, you're moved to a surface lot....)

Thought about the Caddy but she has had several for vehicles although the DVD player would be nice for the son on the way down. The H2 we had was only for a weekend and the thought is that for a week it would be fun to drive [Big Grin] .

Another reason for the H2 is to get it out of my system to have one before the 12 year old drives (it's $2200 for insurance at this time [Eek!] ). Have tried the garage and it is 3 inches to tall as is the GMC Crew cab (3 inches to long). And as every one knows in a 3 car garage only 2 cars can fit without a problem so the Corperate cars Must stay out side (not my gas used to get them warmed in the am).

Hopefully she can swap for one [Smile] .

As for vacations that is why I have such a small lot without a pole barn. [Big Grin] [Razz] She is happy traveling and we get out of this DA** cold up here

I would agree with the f-bod father... having driven the H2 and Escalade back to back... (last two rides) I would take a 'sclade.... I'm getting great fuel economy... on one trip I got 19... the hummer only got 12... didn't matter what you did. I got tired of gasing it up every day (literally) and all the wind noise.... you can't beat a caddy... at first all the extra attention in the H2 was fun but that got tiring and was to the point if someone asked me another queston about it I was going to go postal....
