Saturday I was voted in as the President of our local F-body club! www.ufba.org
I have some great ideas for events. It's going to be a busy and challenging year! Wish me luck!!!
Some of you that belong to clubs...tell me the kinds of events that your club has and what events you like doing. Your ideas would be very helpful!!

Congrats!!!!
As for me being Prez of EMCC...I never asked to run for that position nor did I want that position.Seems that most club members wanted be to take it on.I don't feel like it was the best choice for the club. I just don't have much free time.

Congrats...I think
Some of the events I have been involved with in cluubs are Solo II events, getting together and going to another clubs lapping days, weekly get togthers (sort of a cruise and yak) at local restuarant (or other club's cruise night), barbeques, fun rallys, etc.
And the biggie....forming a convoy to get to BG in September Posted by cytruffle (Member # 1733) on 26 January, 2004 06:21 PM:

First off, schedule a fund raiser so that they can pay for your office and salary. Posted by CamaroSSgal (Member # 1870) on 27 January, 2004 05:44 PM:
Hey, everyone. Thanks for all the congrats!! The founder of the club wants it to remain a non-profit, no membership dues club. From what I have heard from the past presidency...plan on spending some cash. Got a couple of ideas though to make it so we are not forking out a lot of our own money for BBQ's and events.

The Eastern Michigan Camaro Club is also a non profit club. And we sure mean it when we hear what the club bank balance is. We donate all of the proceeds from our local Chevy show and Camaro Superfest to local charities. We even donate money to other charities through out the year. We do have a small membership due to help pay for the printing of our monthly news letter and postage. We still need a few more chairs and a club banner but never have enough money to buy them, so after next month we are raising the dues by $5.When we have any extra money, the club will pay for a picnic for the members. Again Congrats!
