I am sure there is a logical reason for my car to display the following warning when I near the EMPTY mark on the gas gauge - "Check GAGES".

What the heck is a gage???? It also says it plainly in my owners manual! [Confused]

According to Webster, a GAGE is:

Main Entry: gage, a variant of GAUGE

Is there a cost savings when dropping the "u"?? [Razz] LOL

lol...the first time that light came on in my car I thought I had a serious problem until I realized in this case it was specifically referring to the "gas guage"! [Roll Eyes]
