How easy are these puppies to put in?? Think I can do it w/o breaking a nail.... Posted by MaryandRalph (Member # 244) on :
Well; It took me about 1.5 hours and 4 beers, no broken nails but plenty of scratches all over my hands. Good luck and take your time..

Dang...........those are beautiful Millie. I'd like to get those in rallyred for my 35th.
Great present sweets. Posted by CamaroSCG (Member # 1591) on :
Those look great! Where did you you find the best price for them? I've been thinking about getting some. I'd like to get them in SOM, but I don't think that's a standard color offered.

She might break a nail Ed. And you know how a woman feels about broken nails. Posted by JohnS (Member # 1073) on :
Those are great looking FRC's.
Hopefully they will fit right in without too much effort. Unfortunately, mine (stock Corvette units) required major surgery, and my hands still have the scars to show for it.

I keep all of my nails short...then I don't have to worry about breakin any. Plus, they just get in the way!
Those are awesome looking frc's Millie!! They would look great on the hubby's car!!! Would you mind if I asked where you got them and what they run cost wise? And like those that already posted...you can put them on. You'll worry more about all the scratches that you get on your hands. You'll look like you got in a fight with a cat! LMAO!!! I love all the replies!!! Well.....first things first:
THE NAILS
I don't mind getting them dirty, but for $40bucksawhack, I don't wanna break 'em.....they're pretty strong, tho.....ya like the nail polish color, Ken?? ...couldn't find the vodka glass pic....LOL!!!
I don't know if they're the best price or not....it was just too convenient!! (time=$$) I ordered the chrome lettering, a 2nd line (SS), and a roll of heat-reflective tape.
Steve: You can give them your paint code # and they will match your SOM!!
Ken: You could probly have them put "35th SS" or something where the SS is in the sample
Art: Trust me.....you REALLY don't want a videotape of me cussing....!! Posted by ss_rs_z (Member # 1888) on :
OH YEAH !!!!!!! Love the nail color sweets.
And thank you for the Link. I have it saved and will check into them. Posted by cytruffle (Member # 1733) on :

I think I know of some people here in the Bay Area who have been cutting the Corvette FRCs down and making them fit the F-Bods. I cannot justify spending $200 on these...I'll see what I can find out and post about it.

......HOWEVER......not TOO lightweight....it was interesting trying to get into restaurants last fall with poSSum wearing his lime-green speedo....ya can't take him ANYWHERE!
