Just a heads up if you don't subscribe. Nice write up on the car and GMMG in general.

It is Larry Christians car. He is from CO. He had it at Camaros at Carlisle and BG last year. He also ran it at the drags. Did a 11.4@123mph.

that's it. Article says how the others are sitting in garages and Larrys out banging on his. Good info about how the phase 3 came to life.

Larry Christensen's is Daytona Yellow.
The green one you saw at Carlisle was Carl Stubers #65 Fathom Green Phase III.

Killabee, which GMHTP magazine was it? I went to Barnes & Noble this afternoon and looked all through the March 2004 issue and didn't see anything regarding ZL1 cars or Larry Christensen.

I got in the mail over the weekend, can't miss it the cars on the cover. Don't know the month with the goofy schedule on GMHTP (its at work) That's why I subscribe so I don't miss one or waste the time looking.

That car is SWEET. Thanks for posting the pics Cav Dan. Now I'll have to pick up that copy of GMHTP. By the way, who makes that cage?

Check out Chevy Rumble magazine this month, talk about a good write on the ZL1 upgrade, how about the CR5 Covette Race Motor and a good 10" Rear Gear, now we're talking performance. Lamar Walden here in the Atlanta, GA. area. KICKBACKSS

Hey MOO that's my car! Have you seen it lately? I knew that guy was writing a series of 6 articles on the complete build up but didn't know the mag was out yet. Where can I find one in Atlanta?
Wait until you see everything Lamar (who also owned the original #51) is doing to this monster. Posted by Cavy Dan (Member # 1352) on :
Here just a few more, if anyone was really interested. I saw them taking off the Black ZL1 and heard the horrible sound of scraping--from the exhaust tips hitting the ground when lowering it. Eeek!!
