I temporarily assembled some of it to get an idea of what it'll look like. I'm still wiping the drool from my chin...
Some features are: LS6 block, Patriot Stage 2 LS6 heads, custom grind Comp cam 228/236-.588/.602/110+2 lsa, LS6 intake manifold, LS6 PCV conversion, MTI Billet T-body, Meziere electric water pump, Speed Inc. billet fuel rails and custom Katech cast aluminum 'Grand Sport' valve covers... also powdercoated timing chain cover, PS pump and alternator brackets. The A/C compressor will be mounted on a special bracket to relocate it to the upper passenger side to clear the frame. Still deciding on the headers - looks like I may have to have some custom made.
Special thanks to Steve for raising the bar on engine appearance and to Speed Inc. for their help on the engine.

Both you and Steve have taken LS1 appearance modding to unimaginable heights. Keep up the good work - it allows all the rest of us to dream.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback and sorry if it makes you spend more money - Steve did it to me...
Luckily the hood has those big louvers so I'll be able to see the engine without having to open the hood. Posted by twobratSS (Member # 2180) on :

HEY! - - - "I"
And you thank Steve and Speed Inc.
What about ME!!!
Just kidding, the engine looks even cooler in person. At the rate the frame is coming along I may just have to drop that engine into the convertible for some fun!

Can't wait to see the body. What kinda time frame are you looking at to get this car up and running?

Mark looks great! Don't know what your job is but it should be building motors! Have you gave thought to opening your own shop?

Thanks. I'd love to have my own shop of some kind but am not an engine expert. I can make them look good because like Andy said, I have an eye for detail, and an extensive backgound in art & design. I just took what was available and put it together - kind of like a sculpture made of found objects. Posted by Steve da Wrench (Member # 1301) on :
