I've been off the computer since about Fri because we've been redoing my office/scrap room. I'm so pleased with the results. If someone'll tell me how to add pics to a post I'd love to share them.
Dropping my car off this morning as well. She just went over 20K and needs to have tires rotated as well as oil chngd and a few other things looked at.

Pictures have to be hosted on a site that allows hotlinking, otherwise just include the link to the picture in the posting.
When pictures are included in a thread, I use this method.
[img] picture properties[/img] Make sure there are no spaces in that text like the spaces I made.

I don't have anywhere to host pics and know nothing about how to do it. Anyone have some good resources where I can learn about it quick and add my pics tonight?

Practically every ISP provides 5 or even 10 Meg of space on their server for your "personal" web page....use this free space to hold your pix. Three steps are involved:
1. Prepare your pic....make sure it's not too big (probably no bigger than 800 X 600 and less than 100 Kb). 2. Upload it to your ISP's server using WS-FTP or something like it. 3. Link to it using the IMG tag.
Oh...and preview your post to be sure you aren't displaying the infamous "Red-X". Posted by Cavy Dan (Member # 1352) on :
I've been away also and havent posted much. If you need someone to host pics, feel free to email me them, and i can host them with my space and I'll send ya the link back for you to post. Oh and when you post a pic, youc an just click on the "Image" button below and insert the link to the pic. It will automatically insert the image handles.

Thanks Dan! I'll have to do it later tonight if I get a chance since I'm at work now.
On the bright side I dropped my car off and am looking forward to picking it up later today. Having them look at a few minor things and hopefully install the SFC's for me. I'm anxious to see if I can feel any difference in the drive with them on.

alllllsssssooooo....
You can d/l your pics to a photo service like www.smugmug.com and then link directly from there! It's a cool site that offers several sizes of pics, including avatars & signatures (<----with a notarized affadavit from the Janitor...j/k!), and it costs $30./year but if you include my email address, you can get $5. off!!
Ms. Flamin' bird and Mr. Digitalman use smugmug as well, so if you don't like ME, you can use THEIR email addresses for the $5. off!! hahahaha!! Posted by Harry (Member # 1834) on :

I can guarantee that you will notice the difference right away. After Dan installed ours in Bowling Green last September (right in the motel parking lot), it took about 300 feet of driving and one left turn for me to notice the difference. Posted by Cavy Dan (Member # 1352) on :
