I know how you feel. Maybe you will want to get back in the hobby some time in the future.
Take care Ken.

Try to look at it this way Ken, don’t be sad that it’s over, instead, be glad that it happened. Somebody just recently posted this: "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ...
-- WOW--What a Ride!"
It’s the last 4 words that applies here.

Ken, hate to see you had to part with the Comp. Don sent me the word that it sold the other day.......needless to say I was shocked. I guess a time comes for everything. At least you had a choice in parting with your pride and joy.....I can't quite say the same.
So who is the new owner? Anyone we might know? Surely they know what a nice car it is, and hopefully they take care of it the same.

I know what you're going through Ken...at least you know yours is going to a nice home. And remember, its for the Better, that you got rid of it. Ya never know...maybe down the road....

Ken,
A few years ago I never would have thought this day would come. We all know how much your car meant to you. But you have other priorities now and it speaks volumes about how dedicated you are to your new "mission." You are giving up your pride and joy so you can dive into it and that, my friend, earns nothing but respect in my book.

Lots of words of wisdom going on here. Especially like "cars come and go, but friends are forever"., 'cepted when your sitting around few years later and then "damn I had one of those, should have kept it"... Posted by Hawkeye (Member # 88) on :
If you're a good boy I'll let you take mine for a spin at Skyline!
Life is funny, things work out the way they're supposed to. Now you have more time to pursue your rescue efforts. Good for you to able to live your dream and move on.
