It is time for my tires to be removed. I want to change the tire size a bit to lower the car. I am still deciding on brand, but for those who have changed the tire size, what size did you go too?

You didn't say what size you had on there now.

I would guess you possibly have P275/40ZR17's.

Have you considered lowering the car itself with lowering springs?

Your not going to get the car much lower changing tire size if you have P275/40ZR17's. If you do go to a shorter sidewall, you will certainly get a harsher ride.

Its not goign to lower it that much at all...and is not reccomended...PLUS, your Speedometer will be off, adn woudl ahve to get it recalibrated...i used to have a wesite that woudl show the effects of changing tire size and speed difference...I'll see if I can find it again...I wouldn't do it...get some springs instead of goign the 'cheap' route. Save up for them. [Smile] Just my 2 cents
