Lately, my horn has failed and my drivers side window stopped working.
Additionally, I have paint bubbles on the black SS roof.
It's time for the dreaded trip to the dealer.
I am sure my dealer hasn't heard of the TSB on the paint bubbles as they didn't sell but a couple of SS's in 2002. I'd like to take them a printed copy.
Just the thought of those monkeys replacing my roof is haunting but I do want to do this before the warranty expires.
Does anyone know of a link to the TSB for the paint bubbles? I recall that it allows dealers to replace the roof material under warranty.

Thanks for the info guys. I printed the TSB and will hand it to my dealer's service manager.
They're replacing the horn as well and it requires jacking the car and removing a panel under the passenger side front.
I've printed instructions to the dealer on where to jack the car and where to NOT jack the car. I will explain where the jack points are. Last time, they jacked the fender flanges and busted the fenders off the car and it spent 2 weeks in the body shop.
I'll check and write down the mileage and let the service manager know so he hopefully won't let the mechanics go on lengthy test drives.

The only other suggestion I can give you (since I had my halo replaced for the same reason) is to take several pictures of the gap/spacing between the hatch and the halo as well as between the t-tops and the halo, and give them to the body shop with instructions to put the Halo in EXACTLY the same place when they replace it. Mine was done a little bit differently than the original one and I had an issue with wind noise afterwards at the passenger side window. Because the new Halo was set a bit farther back than the original one, that caused the weather stripping to be pulled a bit furthur back than it had been since the weather stripping tucks under the Halo. I shimmed it a bit and it took care of the problem.

The other day, I noticed the panel on the driver's side rear seat popped loose. Is that covered? (I'm REALLY not trying to highjack a thread here...)

Is your car still under warranty? If so, take it to the dealership and ask them to take care of it.

If it's under the 36k/3yr warranty, they shoudl fix about everything (except normal wear items). I took my SS in to the dealer my parents go to (not the one I bought from) and They've fixed things from warped rotors, to blown speaker, to replacing lugnut covers, to window motor. Update:
I got the SS out of the shop on Thursday evening.
The invoice shows the following work items:
Driver's window inoperative. Replaced window regulator and motor assembly.
Horn inoperative. Replaced horn.
Heater fan noisey. Observation: Debris in fan. No action taken. (only noted)
Paint Bubbles in Roof. To Be Repaired Later.
The car was filthy when it was returned. There's greasy handprints all over it and mud splashes from their "test drives". It was pristeen and show room clean when I took it to the dealer.
They boogered the control console on the door, crudely pyring it with a screwdriver. I'll look for more damages today.
Just a typical trip to the small town Chevy dealer.

What a bummer.........that always aggravates me. When I had my roof halo done, my car was delivered to me washed and cleaned.
If I were you, I would make sure they have a good body shop because there is potential for a lot of problems with that halo, especially when they remove it since they have to cut it off. If you haven't seen any of their work, I suggest you take a look at it now. Also if their shop is not neat and clean, that can also be an indication that you might not get a perfect job.

I agree. It's not an easy job. My roof bubbled after the warranty period. I had an outside shop do the job and I am very happy with the results.

Another Update:
Upon further inspection, I found an L shaped bracket lying in the engine compartment, on top of the air lid, obviously left off from the horn replacement. I'll run the part number and see where it belongs and if I can replace it myself, otherwise, the car will have to go back to the dealer to finish the job.
