You've got TONS of room!

In our 24' x 66' garage we park our cars 3 wide by 4 deep. They are 2" apart, nose to tail. They have to be parked in a certain order to get the nose of one to fit in the rear license plate indention of the one in front of it, or over/under the bumper (depending on the generation of car).
The ones on the outside rows are 1-2" away from the wall, and the ones up the middle have between 12-18" of space on the passenger side and just a little more than that on the driver's side to get out of the car.
We could have used just a couple more feet in each direction, but we built the garage all the way to the allowed setbacks.
When we sell the '69 and '72, maybe we replace them with something smaller (like a mid-year Corvette).

You need some storage space, that is a ton of work room in a garage to be taken up!
Wish I had a few of those cars though [Wink]

The idea is to install a hoist in the vaulted area and put a rotisserie next to it (the end where the smaller garage door is) for working room. The Body in White (the black shell in the corner) will go up on a rack and the SST will get parked under that.
With the '69 and '72 for sale, once they go away we'll store our vintage travel trailer inside and get it ready for a repaint.

Once we get our gas, water, insulation & sheet rock in that garage, we'll be asking you for finishing ideas.

When I move to the new house I am going to remove the sliding door from the pole barn and install a 2 car garage door with opener.I was thinking of maybe at least a 8 or 9 foot tall door to allow a enclosed trailer to be pulled into the barn. [Smile]

Sounds like a plan!

We installed a 10 foot tall door to accommodate our 1955 travel trailer's roof vent which is just over 9'.

More pics of our trailer from the Vintage Vacations site.

That pole barn is actually smaller than what was advertised (30X40), it is a 24X32. I am going to add on to the back of it and make it a "L" shape.Maybe add another 30X40 with 12 foot high rafters for when I get a hoist, then add a couple of dormers on the roof and some vynyl siding to match the house.
