Sounds like a great race. Does it take you into the park ? Been to Big Bend years ago .

No, it's between Sanderson and Fort Stockton.

That's cool a nice SS took the checkered [Big Grin]

I hit a deer on that highway in my big 4x4 blazer a few years ago.

I can't imagine hitting it in a SS [Eek!] at 166 mph [Eek!]

sorry for double post but I'll never complain about the cost to go SCCA racing again.

$645.00 entry fee [Eek!] plus, plus, plus [Frown]

nice race though

Yes it is expensive to race, but if you are looking to run unlimited, which is the $645 entry fee, we would love to see you there.

We typically only get 3-4 "big-boys" running the unlimiteds!!!!

Best money you will spend for off-track racing - PLUS - it's legal to run at high speeds on a public road!!

It may seem like a lot. I know many entrants that spend ~$2,000.00 a weekend.
However this is high speed crusing at it's finest, with the emphasis on speed.
Here's a link, showing what it's like, posted by Chris Baschof on another board.
