As we all know and see everyday the price for gasoline has been climbing incredibly lately. Now here in the Detroit Area I have seen prices ranging from $1.73 for regular unleaded to $1.95 for Premium.

I was wondering what the prices are around the country if I may ask. Thanks in advance. [Cool]

Ah yes..I think I did this last spring/summer...it woudl be interesting to see them prices again....

Regular: $1.67
Premium: $1.85

(guess I shouldn't be complaining...especially casue I use regular now [Razz] )

High and I am afraid it is only the beginning for this summer.

$1.57 regular, $1.75 premium

Posted by JohnS (Member # 1073) on :

$.80/liter Can. ~$2.40/gal US for regular
$.92/liter Can. ~$2.76/gal US for premium

Half those prices are government taxes. [Frown]

2.29 91 octane in north orange county, California. Thank goodness I have a bike that I can fill up for under 9 dollars and get 35 miles to the gallon!

$1.65 for regular and $1.85 for Sunoco Super.

Here if you are close to town and the interstate it's 1.67 for regular but if you get away from town a little you can get 93 premium for under 1.80

91 octane runs $ 2.29 to $ 2.39 aound here in the East Bay/680 corridor.

Costco is around $ 2.19- however the Vette does not like it (at least a couple of years ago) and haven't tried it the SS. They get fed Union 76 or Chevron. The XC90 seems to ingest the Costco fuel just fine, which is good considering it's fuel economy [Roll Eyes]

Gas priced are way too high now and there is no reason for it. Wonder why when the Fortune 500 Companies were just announced...Exxon-Mobil was #2 under Wal-Mart. Guess that excuse about an oil shortage is just a cover up for huge profits. [Mad]

i only get regular for both my cars.

it seems to be anywhere between 1.65-1.75 per gallon for regular round these parts. premium is usually 20 cents more per gallon.

Regular about $1.60-$1.68, Premium $1.80-$1.92. Higher the closer they are to the Interstate.

Greg I totally agree with you. And also you have to figure that with the oil companies closing alot of refineries over the last year or two has also helped raise prices.

Ken I found the best prices in your area [Smile] .Speedway on Cherry Hill & Newburg, BP on Michigan & Middlebelt, and then several on Wayne Rd around Cherry Hill.Might be $.03 a gallon but when you put 25 gallons in like I do with the truck a buck or 2 here or there adds up to a "FREE" tank every once in awhile [Big Grin]

I paid $1.78 for premium this morning.

I used to go to Speedway to get my gas in all of my vehicles but one day after putting it in my Tahoe I was getting alot of hesitation so I put in some Fuel System Cleaner which I normally do when I change the oil every three months. It finally cleared up so I went back to using Amoco. Thanks for the consideration and tip Ed. [Cool]

Its still up in the air...depends if my sis wants to go (so we can take her 02 V6 vert) and if I have extra money..it will probably be an expensive weekend to go down there..Just depends on my job situation once I'm done with school in June! All extra money is put towards bills...and um...other odds and ends now...
