Great looking car. Thanks for the pics. Posted by Quick97TA (Member # 1165) on 27 March, 2004 03:39 PM:
That's a beauty.
The first thing I would do is get rid of that dealer sticker, second thing is order the black fill-ins like mentioned above. Posted by vyto2 (Member # 2265) on 27 March, 2004 03:39 PM:
Thanks for the compliments!!! I will loose the dealer sticker soon, think my brother has something to use that won't wreck the paint.
Actually, I like the monochromatic look of the name plates and tags. Not crazy about any of the graphics packages I've seen for the birds either, gonna keep her clean for now. Ghosted flames may be cool, seen a few birds with those that looked tasty...

For the dealer sticker, use a hair dryer, put it on the hi setting and heat the adhesive, once you do that for a few minutes you can just peel the sticker right off!!

Beautiful SOM was my first choice. I got to test drive an SOM 01 WS6 once just for fun at a friend's Dealership. Wished I could've had the car though. I settled for Pewter months later.

Just finished detailing her! Took all night, thank god for garages. Washed, buffed out some light scratches, removed dealer sticker, waxed, windexed all glass inside and out, rain-xed all outside glass, polished factory wheels and chrome tips with mother's, armoralled all plastic and rubber, cleaned and treated leather seats... anybody have a beer?
