Scott (Fbodfather) recently posted about this book in his thread: (NFB) Excellent Book to read.... . I was in the midst of reading it at the time and have subsequently finished. I highly recommend reading this book: go into it with an open mind, and it will rearrange your thinking concerning the role government plays in our lives. Many of the points he makes echoes what I've been thinking the past few years. I'm also surprised at how many other news people consider him a "sell-out". It reinforces the concept that they are more concerned about sensationalizing an issue then solving real problems. I've already loaned this book out to a friend here at work, and plan to pass it on to my parents when they come back from Florida.
Here's the link to the book on the Amazon website:
Thanks Jim, it sounds like something I would be interested in.
I am already aware of the media's sensationalism as we have a few area broadcasters who go a little overboard. It's sad but I always take what I hear or read in the news with a grain of salt, knowing the facts as they are presented aren't always exactly the truth.

GO GET THE BOOK.....this is an election year in the U.S. It's important that we all vote...but more importantly, we need to know what the real issues are....AND...have the solutions of the past worked....or did they make things worse?
(in most cases, no.....government, in my opinion, can rarely do things better than the private sector...)

What we don't need is more Government. All Governments,Federal,State or Local are just like businesses now. All they want is more of our hard earned money.
