A few raindrops didn't bother us! MANY thanks to Roland, Blake and many others who made it very enjoyable.

Wow, a lot of nice cars there. Looks like this has potential to grow. Are there more people pics so we can connect screen names with cars and faces?
Was this an advertised event? I don't remember seeing anything about it on chirpthird.com until this weekend (when it was too late).
If this is a yearly event, let everyone know about it sooner and we can help support it and get even more people there. Posted by mhayman (Member # 146) on :
This was the second installment of last year's SLP Customer Appreciation Day Picnic. If you recall, SLP cancelled the West Coast CAD right before the event date. A picnic was quickly organized and SLP donated some gift certificates and other items to hold the event.
This time, it was expanded a little. With more time, more people were able to plan. The rain kept some away but there were still as many cars or more than last year. SLP, Ibrakes, Afterthoughts Auto, Stealth Performance and several other vendors donated goodies. The guys who really put it together are hoping this event continues to grow each year and become a main West Coast event.
The original link on this board was posted about a month ago.
Ah, I see where the confusion was. The SLP CAD title threw me off since it doesn't exist anymore. I didn't connect it as the same event as the West Coast Picnic. Since there wasn't ongoing chatter or discussion asking for help and attendance, I didn't realize it happened.
