Matt (MY02SSLE) and I had a Camaro Cleaning Party at my house on Saturday. I can't believe how dirty my cars undercarriage was. I have not cleaned it since I drove back home in the rain from the NEOCC Fall Classic last September. Plus I sanded my kitchen cupboards in December with a D/A sander, so every nook and cranny of my undercarriage was just covered with wood dust that would not just blow off. Matt has never cleaned the complete undercarriage of his SS since he took delivery of it. We had our work cut out for us. We both spend the complete day cleaning and did not even have time for a ride after. The neighbors must have thought we were crazy to be cleaning the bottom of these cars.

Dang Greg that looks good... how about coming over to my place and doing my car. What all do you use... everything looks great... even the rubber parts look like you shined them up. Only problem I have is I'm not patient enough to spend an entire day cleaing the bottom.... I would reather be out driving it.

Looks good, although your neighbors must question your sanity . . . Posted by Mike2001SS (Member # 2088) on :
Greg they do look good now and the first thing you got to get at the new house is a nice lift for that building. Beats the crap out of a creaper. I like to stand up and work. I have the next best thing, a neighbor with a pit on one end of his garage with a drain so you can use a water hose and when through there he has a lift on the other end of the garage so you can pull the wheels and finish the wheel welds

We got a late start on Saturday morning. Around 11:30am and did not get the tires back on until it was getting dark...that is why we don't have too many finished product pictures. You should have stopped by. Remember that in good weather there is a real good chance there will be a Camaro in the driveway on any given weekend.
