Well I finally got some time to put in my silver faced Canadian gauges in my car. They are Macewan Motorsports silver overlays with the T/A bezel. I got the little SS decal made locally. [Smile] [Smile]

I also got some brighter bulbs so it lights up nice at night with no dull areas anywhere..

Nice [Smile]
I see you have C, kPa and km/h on the gauges. I thought Canada used mph, and so on, like in the US. Didn't know you were kicking it euro style [Razz]

We started to go partially metric in 1977. That's when vehicle instrumentation, weights and measures, speed limits and temperature readouts changed to metric, just to name a few. It took a while to get used to driving at the legal speed of 90 or 100, a comfortable temperature was at 22 degrees and pressure was measured in kilopascals or bars, but now it's a breeze since I'm so used to it.

I put mine [white ones] on about a month ago when the car was in storage for the winter and on jack stands so putting the bexel on was easy cause I could run the car to move the speedo. If I was to do it again I would have removed the bulbs and put a bright light such as a trouble light under the cluster so I could line up the overlays better to the lines and numbers etc. The light would shine through the bulb holes to light the cluster. I had the cluster on the kitchen table cause it was not bright enough in the garage. I was only off the slightest. The more I would try to correct it by pulling off the overlays the worst it got cause I think they were getting slightly streched. The only time you can notice them being a bit off is at night and it's more on the low speedo. side. I also went with the brighter bulbs.
