I need you guys to help me find some dress up ideas. I have a 1999 NBM Camaro SS and it needs a make over, it looks too stock for me. I would like to know about anything out there with SS logos Gauges, Pedals, etc. Any ideas?

Welcome aboard, first I would click on any
link of one of our board sponsors and browse
their sites. Should give you a few ideas!

Taste is a real personal thing, hard to suggest
for other peoples cars.

Dress up items are things that you like, not what other people think.

The good news is that there are tons of appearance mods. The bad news is that there are tons of appearance mods. It all depends on how much you want to do and how different you want to be.

What don't you like about your car right now? Is it interior or exterior? You mention guages and pedals so it sounds more like interior. Those are both very nice little touches to add. Some people paint some of the interior pieces. Logos, dashplates, seat inserts, seat embroidery are a few others.

Do you have a particular second or highlight color in mind?

On NBM, some people go with chrome, some go with silver, some go with white or red. If you were daring, orange, green or purple would certainly be different. Start with a second color and play off that if you'd like.
You could paint your calipers, change out your shift boot, paint a T/A bezel, customize your door panels and rear CAMARO fill-ins, embroider your seat covers, paint your fuel rail covers, pinstripe the car or under the hood, cover your hoses under the hood in that second color, etc. The possibilities are endless.

The most important thing is to make the car your own with the customization and have fun with it.
