Guys,
Need your help. I just got my 200mph guage cluster. There is a lot of discussion about the TA bezel, Macewen bulbs, and new foam for the steering column.

My original cluster is still in the car with 400 miles. The 200mph cluster core came from a wrecked 2001 Z28. It was returned to me with a crack in the lense and numerous scratches.

Q1.
Does the Ta bezel fit between the cluster and the lense assembly?

Q2.
With the white face, do I need the special bulbs?

Q3.
If so, where do I get them?

Q4.
Anyone have or know how to get a nice lense assembly?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Glenn

Here ya go Glenn:

A1:
The T/A Bezel actually replaces the clear lens over your gauges. It is very easy to install, I used the instructions on http://www.blackcamaro.com

A2&3:
You don't need special bulbs, but I replaced mine while I had it apart with Macewen clear Xenon bulbs makes them alot easier to read at dawn and dusk http://members.aol.com/rmacewen1/index.html
or
http://www.macewenmotorsports.com/xe12-5-2.html

You can use this site for a guide on bulb installation http://www.freewebs.com/philsz28/whitefacegaugebulbinst.htm

A4. SSTeri9672 ( Teri Lane) is where I got my T/A Bezel from and she is great to deal with and very fast in getting your order to you SSteri9672@houston.rr.com

Good luck and any other help you need on install or pics shoot me an email at blkss02@comcast.net

Hope to see you soon at the next event [Cool]

Bob,
Thanks for the help.

So if I understand this. The Bezel IS the lense?

The bezel that Teri sells, is that the same as listed on the Macewan web site?

I don't unerstand why the ICONs vanish when using the TA bezel. Doesn't it just "frame out" the area with the instrumentation?
