We finally got the special edition Z06 at our dealer. This thing is sweet! The carbon fiber hook and the chrome Z06 wheels are so nice on the car. GM really did a good job I just wish they did something with the HP.

Like the GTO, they can't give away vettes. SE Zo6 MSRP 59K now selling for 48K.

why are the vette prices so low? I remember when a base model vette actually went for 40K, and a z06 was about 50K.

Because when GM started taking orders for C6 it killed the sale of the 2004 vette.

The new C6 is nice, but I think the ZO6 is an awesome machine. I am curious to see how the GTO is going to look next year, and with the Dodge Magnum RT out (and potentially the Charger) some fun stuff is coming our way.

Yup. So true. They even have a $3000 rebate on the regular vettes. I like the look of this Z06 alot. I really have not made up my mind on the C6 yet I will have to see it first.

Actually the wheels are polished... not chrome. The one thing they did that kind of cheapens the car is that huge decal on the hood.... for that kind of money you would think they could have painted it.....
