MattP and i are trying to verify whether a certain picture is real or not. Lets assume that we have a picture that we suspect may be one person's head placed onto another person's body.
If we were trying to determine if it is a photoshop job, what kind of things would we look for?
Keep in mind, if this is a photoshop job, its the best i have ever seen. I would post the pic, but its NSFW, adn so its against the rules here, but im just wonderign what kind of pixel characteristics would i look for?

Hugh? I good chopper will make it so you can't tell... try zooming in and see if you can find any tracs of edges from another photo. Don't know what NSFW means?

Essentially, there is a rumor that Britney Spears has posed for playboy for the modest sum of 40 million dollars. Allegedly, a picture was leaked out. Its good. very good. And its in black and white, which of course would make it harder to debunk than a color picture. I have it in the original BMP it was posted in, and i dont see anything odd, does anyone know what kind of pixel distortion you would see if you zoomed in 4 or 5 times around her head? the distortion of pixels in the range from face to background?

I dobut it... at one time they (PB) were going to pay Jenny McCarthy(sp?) a then unheard of almost 1 million dollars... I doubt they would pay 40M, thats stupid money.... chaulk this up to yet another internet myth/rumor....

turns out our resident kitten-killer was up to snuff on his data. Bdub tells me its a fake, and showed me a comparison site that shows her face. its not britney.
