We finally got around to installing the adjustable panhard bar and the relocation brackets after we lowered the car quite some time ago.
Before we installed the PHB and brackets, we would get a little tire noise like a flat spot on the tires. Now, we get a LOT of tore noise like a flat spot!!! We pulled the back tires and the right rear tire in pretty worn on the inside shoulder of the tire. So, we took the tires off of Dave's SS and put them on the rear of my car to see if the noise was just in my tires. NOPE! Got the noise with his tires also. We took off the brakes and rotors and they looked fine.
So....what else could possibly be causing the noise??? It goes in for a thrust alignment on Tuesday and I'm hoping that will cure the noise? or will it??
Any suggestions/answers????? It's driving us nuts!
Thanks!

If you used Poly bushings the noise is being transmitted to the car via the chasis. You canreplace the mounting bushings with a hard durometer rubber and probable kill most of the noise.

Is there any scuffing on the inside tire sidewall or rim?
It could very well be that the tire/rim is rubbing on the inner fender. Look for scuff marks on inner fender wheel (inside) at the front of it near the bottom. The wheel well actually "bumps out" at this point.
This can easily be fixed with a couple of well aimed shots with a big hammer. This is a common problem.
I have been there, done that and got the hammer out.....problem fixed.
