I got them off Ebay for 20 bucks. The same ones they use at the dealer. They can tell you everything imaginable about your care. Some of the old SLP board guys will remember.

I have heard they are good. But I've also heard 2 different descriptions.
1. They are a software program that you run from cd and browse.
2. They are an adobe PDF file that you scroll through like you would a book.
which is it, killabee?
and email me about... stuff...

Not sure what stuff your looking for but the program I had was 5 disks covering all gm models. I loads and is 5GB. The catch for me is I unistalled it and it won't reinstall. I had my harddrive completely cleaned and installed Windows XP. I thought there was a blocker program that would be eliminated, nope still won't install. Here's the thing. It loads to disk 3 and says cant find file 12. When you look at the disk there are 2 main subfiles, one is file 12, containing 50+MBs but you look click on it nothing appears even when you ask to show hidden files. I don't know how info could be manipulated from the disk physically but I don't know how else to explain it.
I'll buy anothor one and see what happens.

Killabee, keep us posted. If you find another set reasonable (cheap) I'd like to buy a copy too.
As for reading the CD like a book on PDF, that was the parts CD that was floating around about a year ago. Each page was scanned in from a book into PDF so it is one image and not a native PDF doc. Still better than nothing Posted by killabee (Member # 860) on :
Search ebay for words like Camaro CD, Service CD, GM service CD. I saw a few on there recently. look for a 5 cd set, thats it.
