Yep here is the first weekend of the summer… Race weekend (I live in Indiana) Pacers Game on Sunday as well. I know that many of you will be out and about, driving the great cars we all own, t-tops out, tops down, windows down and your favorite song playing as loud as you can on the CD player. Everything is just great isn’t it! Well I hope it is for everyone. It’s holidays like these that tragedies happen, most people don’t think about it, just doing there own thing having the time of there lives.. Then my Pager goes off, Someone’s life has been taken from them. It was to early for them to die, they just were up the street, never thought anything about the “few” drinks they had. Like that it is over and your life is changed for ever. I am not trying to bring anyone down on this great weekend, but please be careful. I didn’t think about this kind of crap till I started working at the funeral home, now on the holidays we almost always get calls, you can almost count on it, it is sad but true. More than anything I wish my pager wouldn’t go off all weekend. Just to know that everyone was safe and had a good time is Holliday enough for me. Please be careful and have a great weekend…

Well said. I have a brother who does funerals.
Everyone will go one day. Hopefully it's from old age, and peacefully.
