Another week begins. Short one for those of us
going to the Camaro Nationals. Lets hope the
weather co-operates. Today is supposed to be
perfect.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Pistons
had a decent outing!

Have a great day friends. [Big Grin]

Good morning! What a nice weekend finally. 3 or 4 days in a row without any rain. [Cool]

Like Brian said a short week for a few of us EMCC members making the trip to St. Catherines, Ontario for the Ontario Camaro Nationals. [Smile]

Spent my share of time visiting my dad in the hospital. He almost did not make it thru the weekend. [Frown]

Good morning all. First day unemployed. Going in to say good bye and pick up my stuff today. Then I start to look for my next venture.

Good morning.... I did a lot of yard work this weekend! Dug out 1500lbs of dirt and sod on saturday and sunday brought in 3 yards of bark mulch for the flower beds so needless to say my back aches.... I did take the SS for a short ride sunday morning though.... haven't had it out in a month!

Morning!

Dan, didnt know you were out of work again [Frown] Hopefully it wont be for nearly as long as last time. I havent heard the details since I have been to busy to be on this board much lately.

Worked all weekend on the garage....... finishing up waste plumbing, building soffits under the pipes, modifying the staircase railings for goodies later, building a "TV platform" over the stairs. Got a lot done, but still have a ton to do. At least if I keep this up and get a little done every week, I may have it all ready to insulate by Fall! [Smile]

Is Teri kicking you out of the house and making you live in the garage? [Smile]

Good afternoon! [Smile]

Starting the countdown to the OCC Nationals (and two weeks vacation after that).

I met 30thSSNerd and some of the KW F-body Club members for the first time, very briefly last Saturday. I had my black SS cleverly disguised as a silver Jeep, so I could sneek up on 'em. [Big Grin]
Looking forward to meeting them again at the Nationals.

No way!!! We're both going to live in the 1000 square foot suite above the garage while we remodel or replace our house (in the future). The house is currently 916 square feet, so we're used to small quarters. The house will get a 3 car garage on one end and at least a kitchen remodel, depending on funds. Perfect world scenario is we move the current house to another lot and rebuild a whole new one, but a whole bunch of money would need to sprout on a tree in the back yard if that's going to happen.
Once we're back in the house (could me many years from now), the garage suite becomes storage and guest quarters/party room/club house.

Teri;
You posted a pic a couple of years ago of the exterior plan for the 'new' house. I think it was similar to a Cape Code design. It that still the plan?

Yes. If we completely replace the house, it'll still look like the plans I posted a couple of years ago. The features we designed for the garage will be replicated on the house (dormers, half-rounds, etc.) It's kind of a mish-mash of styles and architectural features, but they work well together.
