If so, what pulley's do I replace and what brands are good? Are they easy to replace? Thanks!

no. for the trouble you have to go thru, and the exspense.....and the extra belt needed sometimes....

I bought a ASP last year and mid summer I had the retaining ring fly off and it started coming apart. I was getting massive amounts of KR. I sent the pulley into ASP for warrenty and a couple months later they finally returned a new one to me.. Awesome customer service
The short of the story, 1)If you get one get a known company, ASP is considered the most popular, my case was weird because mine was one of the very first SFI units and they didnt' weld the ring on very well my new one is alot better. 2)Buy good belts. 3)Don't be a retard like me and underdrive the alt even more, Because when headlights, AC and radio are on the battery is dying the whole time unless you rev on it. 4)Put a new seal in, the pulley is tough to put on so you don't want to have to redo it because of a seal (I've done mine 3 times) 5)Always buy a new bolt.
If you have any questions ask.. LS1's usally pickup 8-9rwhp off of this mod.

Yes, buy SLP's new underdrive pulley it's alot better design over ASP. I heard from others who had both pulleys say that the SLP made their cars pull harder at low rpm and alot easier to install over the ASP pulley.

I did the underdrive crank but not alternator when I did my ASP install. So far so good. Though I did the install when I did my cam and LS6 Intake, so I can't attest to the effect of this mod itself.
