How can I get these scratches out? The tires are still smooth when you run your finger over them, so I guess its just the clear coat that is scratched. Any suggestions? Thanks !

Travis how did they get scratched anyway? If they are not all the way through the clear coat you can compound them out and them polish back to a shine

Do you drive the car in the winter salt? That looks like salt damage does when it first starts.

i think it happened when i had some tires mounted. i didn't notice it for months after, but I dont drive the car everyday, it just sits under a cover.

I would try lightly sanding them with a 2000 grit wet sandpaper. That may be enough to get the scratches out. Then use a mild polishing compound to bring the shine back. That may be enough to take care of it.

I would try the wet sand method 1st lightly followed by a polishing compound. Worse case, the clear will have to be removed and resprayed.
