Haven't been on in awhile, and I apologize for that. When we last spoke, I was entering in two car shows. I'll begin by tell you how they went. First one had so many categories, that it got confusing and was to root to my error. I picked the wrong class and got beat out by very classy cars. 69 Road Runner, and a 67 Mach1. I shook it off as lesson learned. Second show, I was poised to nail it. Then only come to find out that I lost to a 98 Pontiac Grand Am with big rims, engine wasn't even open on the car the whole day. Second place went to a mustang that was sitting right behind the judge’s booth; she didn't have her hood open either. Should that mean to Judges that the engine compartment if filthy?????? I was really discussed to see how that whole show was judged. A lot of people came up to me and said that I was rob. I started to agree with them. My ego (losing to a grand am with big rims) my hold my had down about could weeks.
As for surgery, here we go again. The “new ear” has formed a hole and I can’t hear **** again. So it’s back under the knife for me/. I’m on some heavy drugs right now so excuse my errors.

Go to a show with nothing expected. It's all subjective and not everyone has the same taste. You'll save yourself a LOT of stress if you just go to have a good time. If you come home with something, it's merely a bonus.

What she said and one thing to learn from is when a nice Camaro is in a open show is hard to do any good as its what the judges like most of the time. Just have fun and forget it. You soon will have more than you can hang on a wall. Posted by killabee (Member # 860) on :
Do you have a sign of something that could display how special of a car you have. How can you lose to an everyday grand am with big rims. I wouldn't even enter a car a like that. A base model SS should score better than that. The judges must be goffy. Do they score on how many watts your amp is too.

I've seen a few shows where the "old" cars were highly rated and newer models not, and also where the damn ricers were rated high and domestics low. Sometimes I think the judges are really pathetic.

Very true. Most think that the car has to be made prior to 1970 to be a muscle car. Some look at ours and snubly walk by.
