Here's a few pics from today. The cabinet dudes were there today, as well as the "rock face" guy for the fireplace. Neither are done, but here's a few pics. It looks a little funny on the walls where drywall "mud" is globbed in the wall outlets. The electricians are coming tomorrow for trim work and they're really going to be happy about digging out mud from the boxes.

Enjoy.

Estimated completion date is 7/12. Ok...we'll just have to see. [Roll Eyes]

Electricians are used to digging out boxes (either the drywall isn't cut out and you have to search for the box, or the box is filled with spackle). The worst I ever saw was a job where the tapers intentionally filled every receptacle box along the kitchen counters full of spackle.
The drywall was installed horizontally and the seams did fall along the middle of the boxes, so there was no way to avoid getting spackle in them, but the tapers filled them in solid. Not sure if one of us sparkies had made someone mad or if they just thought they were funny. Paybacks are a *****. [Smile]

Anyway, your house is coming along nicely! Looks great! My house is a few weeks behind yours (wiring and plumbing are roughed in, and drywall is delivered, waiting for insulation). Ours is a gray ranch also. Not as much land as you have though! Half-acre backed up to woods (conservation area).

Looks like you'll be moving in soon. Enjoy your new home!

Drywall mud in the outlets are common place. The electrician wouldn't know what to do if he didn't have to dig out the drywall.
