Just read a post on LS1tech.com

Dyno run on a Dynojet 315 rwhp, then he drove
2 miles and waited 2 hours. Did a run on a
Mustang Dyno, 274 rwhp. Stock SS with just a
Lid. Interesting....

I always get mine done on the same dynojet each time. When calculated for base HP and TQ it gets you pretty close. The Mustang dyno I had always heard reads low.

How could a company like the one that makes the Mustang dyno be so far off from other dynos? Seems that there should be some sort of standard they must follow.

The Mustang dyno puts more of a load on the rollers than the dyno jet does. From the articles I've read, the Mustang dyno is the more accurate of the two.
