[Cool] [Big Grin] I don't think any more needs to be said. If the Camaro was dead I think it would have been confirmed by the Fbodfather himself. Just my opinion. [Smile]

Before I toss my two cents in, I never noticed "eles1" over at LS1.com. Hmmm. Granted, I don't visit over there much, but for those who do, that isn't me. Just for the record. [Wink]

Now for my two cents. Remember the "possible legal issues" that surrounded the F-body and why GM isn't talking? With all the evidence of those posted rumors suddenly dissapearing, which goes a 180 turn from what they've done in recent times with the GTO and SSR, and all we're getting is a "keep the faith" message with nothing more said, it gets my attention. I got a feeling at least some of those rumors to have some merit of sorts, because when GM is talking concept vehicles a few years in advance of them appearing in showrooms, 2007 is right around the corner. If there IS an '07 Camaro platform, you would think there would be some buzz about it by now to generate interest.

This is just my opinion, but car companies' offerings usually don't fare well when they suddenly appear in the showrooms with little fanfare. I think the Camaro return will, or at least should, have an unveiling that is just as deserving as the buzz surrounding the SSR, et al.

Obviously that's just my opinion on why GM is being mum about it. I think if they could, and if indeed they intend to, they'd LOVE to announce a deserving platform as the new Camaro. Although I wish the Firebird would be around as well, I got this gut feeling that the Firebird won't be back. I haven't heard a peep about that. Perhaps the GTO is why they won't get the bird back and Chevy gets the Camaro back vs. getting a "chevelle SS" or something, I dunno.

These are just my opinions, and don't mean squat. Just thinking out loud. Which is scary, I know.
