Car is a white, 2000 firebird, 53000 miles approximately. Has had front fascia removed and painted, as well as the right rear quarter panel. Interior is in good condition, engine appears to be mechanically sound. Aftermarket tint and alarm. The dealer wants about 10000 drive out (that includes tax, title, and license).
Just wondering how low ya'll think the car could go for.
Base model, power windows, locks, keyless entry, automatic tranny, single exhaust, and it has whatever rear end differential is lower than 3.42.
Thanks in advance

Edmunds.Com shows dealer retail at around $10,000 for a "clean" car with 53K miles. Since that one has had repairs, it may bring less.

I advised him to offer 9000 drive-out, but accept up to about 9300. 2 major body panel's repainted, one an obvious replacement... I smell a minor wreck, not enough to be conserned about frame damage, but enough to bring the price down.

...run a Carfax on it...it could give him more negotiating power if he can prove it's been in an accident...

Check it over really carefully. The plastic fenders and fascia can hide a lot of stuff. Measure across the shock towers as well to make sure everything is in place. DON'T rely on CARFAX, they only report what's been reported.
