Where do I find my username and password to log into the SSOA website? Do I need to wait for my membership packet to get this info?
Also, how do I include an avatar in my profile?

Email me for a temporary password for the current site.
There is an avatar field in your profile. Make sure you choose the avatar (or enter the URL) and click on the set avatar button before saving your profile.

On the avatar thing, apparently I'm a blithering idiot... the only reference I can find to an avatar on the profile page is under the preferences (ie, whether or not I want to hide other's avatars).
Is there any kind of minimum post limit required before you can add an avatar?

Hmmmmm, go to your profile and get into edit mode. Between the birthdate & signature field should be a link for changing the avatar.
